Early afternoon departure for Pomacochas (2300m) and late afternoon birding at the lake near the hotel. Today's birds included White-cheeked Pintail, Plumbeous Rail, Andean Lapwing, Blue Ground-Dove, Scarlet-fronted Parakeet, Grey-chinned Hermit, Spot-throated Hummingbird, White-bellied Hummingbird, Maranon Spinetail, Necklaced Spinetail (race chinchipensis), Northern Slaty-Antshrike (race leucogaster), Maranon Crescentchest, Pacific Elaenia, Maranon Thrush, Speckle-breasted Wren, Black-capped Sparrow (race nigriceps) and Buff-bellied Tanager.
