Birds included White-tufted Grebe, Peruvian Booby, Guanay Cormorant, Peruvian Pelican, White-winged Guan, Peruvian Thick-knee, Peruvian Tern, Red-masked Parakeet, Peruvian Screech-Owl, Peruvian Pygmy-Owl, Tumbes Hummingbird, Short-tailed Woodstar, Scarlet-backed Woodpecker, Guayaquil Woodpecker, Necklaced Spinetail, Collared Antshrike, Elegant Crescentchest, Pacific Elaenia, Tropical Pewee (race punensis), Tumbes Tyrant, Sooty-crowned Flycatcher, Snowy-throated Kingbird, Baird's Flycatcher, Black-and-White Becard, White-tailed Jay, Plumbeous-backed Thrush, Superciliated Wren, Tumbes Sparrow, White-headed Brush-Finch, Cinereous Finch, Collared Warbling-Finch and White-edged Oriole.
